Unhinged N Loud™
Intellectual Property & Use Notice™
Last updated: August 30, 2026
1. Purpose and scope
This Intellectual Property & Use Notice™ applies to websites, applications, tools, educational resources, downloadable materials, community experiences, and other digital properties identified as part of the Unhinged N Loud™ ecosystem and operated by Unhinged N Loud™ (“UNL”).
Accessing or using a UNL property does not transfer ownership of its content, branding, software, creative assets, or other protected materials.
All rights are reserved to the fullest extent provided by applicable law.
2. Unhinged N Loud™ materials
Except where otherwise stated, Unhinged N Loud™ owns, has received an assignment of, or is authorized to use the original materials presented through its properties.
Protected UNL materials may include:
- Original written, educational, editorial, and audiovisual content
- Original selection, arrangement, organization, and presentation of content
- Branded educational frameworks, methodologies, protocols, guides, and learning experiences
- Proprietary tools, systems, templates, decision aids, and organizational resources
- Software, source code, object code, interfaces, workflows, databases, and technical documentation
- Original page layouts, interaction designs, visual systems, and user-interface expression
- Original characters, character designs, artwork, illustrations, graphics, photographs, animations, and creative assets
- Downloadable guides, worksheets, scripts, summaries, educational materials, and printable resources
- Product names, program names, logos, taglines, and other brand identifiers
This protection applies only to material that Unhinged N Loud™ owns or is legally authorized to use.
3. Trademarks and branded names
Unhinged N Loud™, its logos, and the product, program, character, framework, and feature names identified with the ™ symbol are used as trademarks or service marks to identify UNL goods, services, and experiences.
The ™ symbol indicates that trademark rights are claimed. It does not represent that every mark has been federally registered.
Nothing on a UNL property grants permission to use a UNL name, logo, character, tagline, or other brand identifier in a way that could suggest affiliation, sponsorship, approval, endorsement, or ownership by another person or organization.
Accurate, lawful references to a UNL product or service are not prohibited when they do not create confusion or imply an unauthorized relationship.
4. Educational frameworks and methodologies
UNL may create branded educational frameworks, methodologies, protocols, sequences, templates, illustrations, explanations, and organizational approaches.
UNL claims rights in the protectable elements of those materials, including their original names, written expression, examples, graphics, structure, selection, arrangement, branding, and implementation materials.
UNL does not claim copyright ownership over an underlying fact, idea, concept, procedure, process, system, method of operation, medical fact, scientific fact, or discovery merely because it is discussed, organized, or explained in a UNL resource.
The original UNL expression and presentation of those subjects may nevertheless be protected.
5. Software, tools, and internal architecture
UNL software, code, interfaces, workflows, visual designs, technical documentation, and other original software expression may be protected by copyright and other applicable law.
Public access to a UNL tool does not provide a license to copy its code, reproduce its interface, clone its original design, republish its workflow expression, or create a competing or derivative product from protected UNL material.
Nonpublic source materials, internal documentation, confidential architecture, implementation details, operational processes, and development materials are not made available for public use. They may be protected, where applicable, by copyright, contract, trade-secret, confidentiality, or other law.
Reveal the Mission. Protect the Blueprint.
This principle means that UNL may publicly share its mission, education, and community purpose while keeping its nonpublic technical and operational blueprint protected.
Nothing in this Notice restricts conduct that applicable law expressly permits.
6. Characters, artwork, and creative assets
Original UNL characters, character expressions, accessories, artwork, illustrations, photographs, graphics, animations, visual environments, and other creative assets may not be copied, extracted, redrawn, republished, modified, animated, merchandised, sold, or incorporated into another product without prior written permission.
This restriction applies only to assets owned by or validly assigned or licensed to Unhinged N Loud™.
7. Downloadable and educational materials
When a UNL property expressly provides a download, print, or export function, the resulting material may be used for the purpose stated with that resource.
Unless a separate license says otherwise, expressly provided downloads are licensed only for the recipient’s personal, noncommercial use.
The recipient may not remove ownership notices, sell the material, republish it as their own, distribute it as a product, place it behind a paid service, or use it to create a competing commercial resource without written permission.
Downloading a resource does not transfer copyright or trademark ownership.
8. Permitted use
Visitors may:
- Access UNL properties through their intended public interfaces
- Use available tools for their intended personal or expressly authorized purposes
- Print or download materials when the property specifically provides that function
- Share an ordinary link to a public UNL page
- Make uses allowed by fair use, public-domain rules, or another applicable legal exception
Any permission provided by a particular resource is limited to that resource and the stated use.
No additional license is implied.
9. Prohibited use
Unless UNL gives prior written permission or applicable law expressly allows the use, visitors may not:
- Copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute protected UNL material
- Modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative products from protected UNL material
- Resell, sublicense, commercialize, or include protected material in a paid product or service
- Repackage UNL educational resources, tools, templates, scripts, or downloads under another name

- Extract, copy, or distribute nonpublic source code, internal documentation, architecture, or implementation materials
- Represent UNL material as being created, sponsored, approved, or owned by someone else
10. Personal records and user-submitted material
Unhinged N Loud™ does not claim ownership of a person’s medical records, personal health information, uploaded documents, photographs, private Health Story™, Care Story™, or other user-owned information merely because the information is entered into or processed by a UNL tool.
Community posts, stories, Lantern Tips™, feedback, and other submissions remain subject to the consent, submission, moderation, and publication terms presented where the material is collected.
UNL claims only the permissions a person expressly grants through those terms or another valid agreement.
A person submitting material is responsible for having the right to submit it.
11. Third-party materials
Third-party trademarks, service marks, platform names, medical-portal names, content, software, artwork, research, publications, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
